when words fail

Even for those of us who believe devotedly in the power of words, there is a time for silences. And today’s a time for silences, for me. I can only echo Mark Evanier:

I obviously have nothing to say about the tragedy out of Boston that others aren’t saying. You know how you feel about it? That’s how I feel about it.

My father-in-law has run the Boston Marathon three times. Right now, I’m just grateful yesterday wasn’t one of them.
